Dave began his career in the high-tech field, where he worked with software to automate accounting processes.  The work soon grew tiresome and left Dave feeling restless.  Determined to make a change, Dave began training as an apprentice electrician.  To supplement his income early on in his apprenticeship, he started mowing lawns and helping his neighbors repair their sprinklers.  He was pleased with the change of pace this work provided, and found himself satisfied in using his hands to solve real, tangible, problems for people in his community. Before too long, "Dave's Lawn and Irrigation" naturally grew and evolved into a full-fledged operation.

Today, Dave is a licensed electrician and continues to work in in the electrical industry as well.  He has found that electrical work has improved his ability as an irrigation technician, and vise versa. He has discovered that many parallels exist between electrical and irrigation systems and applies what he has learned in each trade to provide the best value to his clients.  Now, he continues to work hands-on in the field, and also endeavors to pass along what he has learned to his team.

When Dave is not working on irrigation or electrical systems, he enjoys training for triathlons, lifting weights, and spending time with his wife, Alvina, and his dog, Berry.
